As one of the design project of the UX/UI design bootcamp, we were challenged to create wellness solutions across various domains, including physical wellness, nutritional wellness, and mental wellness. The ultimate output should encompass a user profile, goal and progress tracking, system feedback, and strict adherence to GDPR guidelines.
My teammate Corrine and I, both passionate about mental wellness, recognized the proven benefits of mindfulness. Acknowledging that many individuals with mental health issues tend to avoid mindfulness, we aimed to create a pioneering Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for a mental wellness app with an inventive approach to well-being.
We crafted a user experience catering to every level, including those skeptical about the benefits of mindfulness.
Comprehensive research and iterative design processes ensured a deep and intuitive user experience

Outcomes
A UX Solution
for every level
The project culminated in a user-centered platform offering personalized features such as goal settings, step-by-step mindfulness sessions, and mood analysis through a personal dashboard, derived from extensive user interviews, providing a holistic solution for stress reduction and anxiety management with built-in progress tracking
Solution
Defining Value
Rooted in user patterns from interviews, we've developed a user-centric concept with impactful UX solutions. This is supported by scientific facts for those who are skeptical and includes a gradual introduction for those new to the mindfulness world.

Research Milestone: A Game-Changing Moment

Every finding in the user research, particularly insights from user interviews, provided valuable information. However, one specific pattern significantly influenced the design of the experience and information architecture.
Individuals expressed curiosity about meditation but faced uncertainty in initiating it. They were perplexed by the various options for mindfulness available
Frame Works
Building the Framework for Our Goals

How might we:
In an ideation session, we implemented frameworks guiding strategic thinking and decision-making for Soothie's goals. These frameworks fostered internal alignment, offered a structured approach for tackling challenges, and promoted cohesive collaboration, ensuring a unified direction toward achieving our objectives
-

-
-
provide smooth and simple guidance for mindfulness?
-
-
help users set goals and track them?
-
inform users about the benefits of mindfulness?
